The present.

We've had an original The Present keeping time in our home for around 6 years now. And if we had a list of favorite things, it would be high on it.

The Present is an annual timepiece with a movement that sweeps over a color gradient over the duration of a year. The winter solstice is at the top white, and summer solstice at brightest yellow. Both our kids know where their birthdays land in terms of color.

We're excited to share that we've been collaborating with Scott Thrift, the maker of the present on designing the clock housing of his newest release of timepieces titled Day Moon Year.

Tools which help shift our perception of time, both in the experience of it passing, but also our position within time is one of the driving themes behind our creative practice.

We're excited to help bring these pieces into the world. And highly recommend checking out this project.
