A couple days ago we launched Superlocal, and we are incredibly grateful for all of the support. Thank you!

Superlocal is a 24-hour clock with a customizable dial. It's a way to build a clock around your day, instead of scheduling around a clock.

Below is a close up on some physical design details that give this thing a little extra something something... read on if curious.

Superlocal on Kickstarter

Desk dots.

One of our favorite details about Superlocal is how it stands on a desk. You can use two 2.5mm dial markers to place Superlocal upright so it won't roll away and go BONK.

Snap back.

To accesss the insides of Superlocal, simply snap off the back plate to access the hang hole. Use this to mount it on a wall.

Also in the back is some storage for magnetic dial markers that are not in use. It ships with 11 white and 1 gold marker. And we're working on bright orange ! (stay tuned)

Dial up close.

Superlocal's single hand makes one rotation every hour. On the perimeter of the clock are 48 machined dimples that perfectly fit 2.5mm magnetic spheres. They are pretty satisfying to snap into place.

Up close you can see some subtle machined lines. These are meant to be visible up close, to help set your clock, but to disappear from a distance. Long lines appear every 6 hours, and the short ones on the hour.
