For several weeks we've been experimenting with combining laser etched patterns and titanium anodizing. With greyscale patterns, the laser varies intensity removing varying depths of the oxidized layer. This in turn varies the depth of the anodization. With this unique finishing technique, the surface shimmers and appears almost 3 dimensional.Â

This week, we're making 20 Herring Blades with a unique gradient scale pattern. We're using a different random seed to generate each pattern. So your glistening catch will not look like anyone else's.
