We are so excited to share, we won the 2022 Cooper Hewitt National Design Award in the Product Design Category!

The 2022 National Design Awards, which are the design industry’s highest honor for innovation and impact, demonstrate to the public that design matters and seek to increase national awareness of its impact through educational initiatives. For the Product Design category, the Award honors an individual or firm for their achieved body of work in their design of goods, furniture, lighting, and materials.

We cried when we found got the phone call.

CW&T started in 2009 in a bathroom closet with one client, lots of naiveté and a shared passion to build a life centered around a creative practice. Over the last 13 years, our work has spanned from interactive software to human-scaled tools that enhance our relationships to technology, work, life and time. Each day feels like we’re still figuring stuff out, and that’s how we like it :).

Above is the video we made as part of our submission for the award. This was the toughest video making experience we've ever had, as you can see we look and are very pooped. That said, we think it captures what we do and hope you like it.
