Tumbler tumbling, tummies rumbling... mini pies, chocolate strawberries, gummy worms (not pictured), the floor is hot lava, CW&T full + chilling, beetlejuice PTC + some green.
Homebodies.Â
The last time we travelled for thanksgiving we brought the gift of rotovirus to our beloved friends in Austin. I still don't think they have forgiven us. Ever since I've decided it is the perfect time of year to stay put.Â
And since neither of us grew up in the US or celebrating thanksgiving, we make our own little traditions. Shepards pie for dinner (that's british right?). And some experimental desserts. This year our mini-muffin sized vegan GF pumpkin pies were f&^king amazing. Recipe adapted from this. Mini-muffin sized pies give you the perfect ratio of crust to filling, just saying. Our chocolate dipped strawberry experiment was a total fail when on a whim I added some almond milk to cut the bitter of the liquid hot chocolate and then something that was definitely chemistry happened that resulted in strawberries planted in chocolate sludge.
We just finished off the Shepards pie for a late breakfast. We've spent the past few nights staying up way past bedtime to get the shop, parts and processes ready for a busy time of year.
With love and hugs,
Che-Wei + Taylor
