Into the double digits.
This was a week where it felt particularly good to do some hands on work making Batchdrop 010. First we anodize purple. Then we use one of Nana's sculpture tools to get the sketchy, brushed finish. When the anodized layer comes off it leaves behind a semi-polished, raw Titanium that shimmers in light. Each one is hand-made with whatever zoops [that's what it sounds like] and moves we improvise when we make them.
Batchdrop 010.
As with all our drops, these are limited to 25 and we've got no clue if we'll ever make more.Â
Our last drop was gone in less than and hour! You have until we start making them Tues AM or until they sell out.Â
Close up of the finish.
Pre-launched launch clocks.
Even though this continues to be a popular request, early into making Time Since Launch we agreed to not backdate TSLs. Itâs important to the project that humans are physically present when launching an epoch. And the physical object becomes a container for that moment in time. Over the years, our friend Josh who is the electronics wizard who helped make TSL possible, has been insistent on us making a website for pre-launched TSLs. Last week CW had a free moment and put this together for Josh.
We have a wall of pre-launched and used TSLs in our annex. Maybe one of these accidental launch dates means something to you? We'll keep adding to this list, so check back in and maybe something will pop up.
Side note...Writing this I got curious to know what a TSL would read if it was launched at moment zero of the common era. It would read 738395 40 12 00. (with some extra depending on when you open this). You would still have 261603ish days!!! (that's around 716 years) until your TSL maxes out and the digits shift to give you 10 instead of 1 second resolution. :)

Prototype #2.Â
We've been working on a collection of stackable, multi-sized, forever storage bins. Our second run is made from stainless. (you can see the aluminum bins in second level of the stack). These are totally overkill but we're kinda obsessed with how satisfying they are to stack and how ð they look.
With love and hugs,
