Scenes from Monday morning.

We're loving the vibes on this set of snaps. Shot on film by Shubhankar Singh early Monday morning. Shubhankar is a design student, and hit us up on instagram asking if he could come by to document our Batchdrop 011 making session. We had no clue he'd show up with film! Ahh, film. It was really hard to pick my favorites, so just scroll for some scenery and a loose step by step of the anodizing process.

A touch of magic potion. Shub on the fly backlit the 1:1 simple green water mixture with the light from his phone. This is step 1 of the process. Step zero is the tumbling we do first but not shown.

Next we get glamorous with some toothbrushing. Loosen up any remaining surface debris.

No shots of the multi-etch step. Adjusting the voltage. We hit 93V for the double dip and 13V for the bronze. Oh hi SSW.

Yesterday we got the first 5 off the PCB assembly line. Our new boards are being assembled in Massachusetts, which we're so psyched about. Hoping to visit soon! We're using a fancy Black VT-447(B) PCB this time round. So it is black through and through. Looking good.

Apologies for any messages this week that have gone unanswered. First Tree, then Taylor got thwacked with a bug and we're just getting back to things today. The above photo was taken early in the week when Taylor was tentatively still standing.
