Ricochet.

I contaminated our anodizing protocol this week. Our multi-etch turned murky brown and started to smell nose stingingly toxic. I called customer service and spoke to a very cheerful and informative human. Yesterday I fixed it and now have 6 immaculately tuned steps for producing colorful pieces of titanium.

To celebrate we made Pen Type-C Splatter. There's only 8 of these because Pau + Tree discovered some arctic gatorade stowed in our studio fridge from when we had the flu last October. I let them have some. Tree's spilled. Madness ensued...

Right now it is quiet. Che-Wei, Pau + Tree are out watching four teenage mutant turtles. I just ate a frozen waffle. The same friends who gifted us the waffle maker just texted to ask if I was ok in reference to a selfie I posted earlier today on IG. Maybe the PPE I was wearing insinuated danger, more likely it was me posting a weird selfie, or maybe they knew about the waffle.

I feel like a pinball these days. Ricocheting off one shiny surface and on to the next. Things are exciting. Getting stuff done in the only way we know, chipping away at our cave of wonders.

I'm totally ok.

Pen Type-C Splatter

Just in.

We received our 55 66 88 packaging. Still waiting on the aluminum parts, but things should come in the next week or so.

Magic beans.

Brooklyn feels tropical, exotic and tropical actually. 3 days ago me and Tree enmeshed a few black beans in some wet cotton balls and they are each 10 inches tall. Also in our yard is a pot that collected rainwater and now has several weird looking fish-like things jump-swimming around. Pau thinks they are aliens and he's always right.

With love and hugs,

Che-Wei + Taylor
