M.R. Tape Dispenser.

Back in 2010, we wanted to keep our tape stored in beautiful colorful stripes on our wall. Our design centered on a dispenser that was roll-size agnostic, and would play off some of the inherent affordances of tape itself. We attempted several designs, but couldn't get the details to come together. Over the past few months, we revisited the design, tweaked and figured out how to make this real. It is named M.R. Tape Dispenser and it launches this coming Tuesday on Kickstarter.

M.R. Tape Dispenser for your eyes only.

For now, we'd love your eyeballs on the campaign, it's still in progress, but your feedback much appreciated.

GIFT_001.

As part of our M.R. Tape Dispenser campaign, we're doing a soft launch of a starter kit of a few of our most beloved items.

The kit contains Studio Sketchbook, Pen Type-C, 1P Flashlight + a stack of Adhesive Reflective Repair Patches. The box it comes in doubles as a desk organizer that is compatible with gridfinity, the modular, open-source grid storage system for your workshop.

GIFT_001 will be available as an add-on to M.R. Tape Dispenser. This is a way for us to test out using Kickstarter's new "add-on" feature, and also a way for us to gauge interest in this item and also to practice making them. Over the past few weeks, we set up a mini print farm in our shop.

Timed capsule.

The first Timed Capsule was locked shut a few weeks ago with visitors, friends + family of We The Curious!, a UK based science museum. It's filled with letters written by kids to their future selves. They decided to set it to lock shut for 26 years, so it will open in 2050 if all goes according to plan 😬.

With love and hugs,
