Daylight saving time ending + Solid State Watch is on sale.

We accidentally pre-made too many Solid State Watches for Windup Watch Fair last weekend. The bulk of these are in EST [-5 UTC], which the clocks will switch to on Nov. 3 if you live on the east coast.

Solid State Watch is an experimental timepiece that we hand make at our Brooklyn studio/shop. The project is an homage to the electronics within the iconic Casio F-91W, which have remained unchanged since its release over 35 years ago. As a stand-alone unit, this is one of the most accurate watches at any price range. The movement of Solid State Watch is encased in resin and suspended in mineral oil. You cannot adjust the time, or change its 10-13 year battery. Over time, time will drift, gradually surfacing the otherwise imperceptible imperfections and inaccuracies of the electronic movement.
