the moon.

Here's something to listen to. Che-Wei played this in the car last Friday as we drove to Montreal. Something about my mood, or the moon, or the reason for our trip, or a combination of those things had me primed, maybe. Or maybe it was the story. Take a listen. And we're curious if you feel like sending us your thoughts/reactions. Just reply here.

Blackbird Spyplane.

One of you reached out this week because we're in it as part of their 2024 gift guide. We wrote about Blackbird Spyplane in our newsletter about newsletters almost exactly 2 years ago. Honored to bleep on their radar and will gladly accept his description of our work. This summer Jonah from Spyplane published an interview with Adam Sandler around the release of his new Netflix special Love You directed by Josh Safdie. They talk about making it "the perfect amount of f^*d up". Which is difficult to pull off and exactly how I felt watching it. With comedy we're used to self-deprecation, but that positioned next to love left me feeling I'd never seen anything like it. In any case, thanks for the sweet words Spyplane.

Power. Resistance. Control.

A NEW VERY SPECIAL Pen Type-C collaboration just dropped. Designed by Zai Aliyu for the School For Poetic Computation winter fundraiser. It really is so cool.
