Chairs with backs.

Our building facade is being jack-hammered off, so we found quiet huddled upstairs where we sleep. Me and Che-Wei sitting at the foot of our bed, a stool dedicated to each of 3 mics and Jackson sitting across from us on a 20-06 Emeco chair. Except for my desk, our house has no "table-height" tables, or chairs with backs, except this one. So that singular chair's usual programming (sorry Jackson) is to drape clothes on that are neither clean enough for the drawer nor dirty enough to be laundry.

Our chat with Jackson lasted just short of two hours. It's filled with questions that pressed us to wonder and welcomed our fumbles. To put it plainly, we said things we've maybe rolled around as thoughts, but never said out loud.
