SNATCH on a rice bag.
Cozy and old.
It's been a full week. Good things. We've been meeting many over-qualified really nice applicants for a job we posted last week as a fulfillment assistant. Deciding will suck. Weds we all went to watch the John Candy documentary "I Like Me" at King's theatre in Flatbush. I cried a lot. Before we ate Guinean food and then Pau still hungry wolfed a cheese Papusa. Last night I met up with two old friends. Until yesterday, the 3 of us hadn't hung out in 19 years, almost half our lives. One friend told a story and referenced a proverb I'd never heard about a fish and an alligator. The reference made no sense, but now the fish talking to me and the alligator hiding somewhere are stuck in my head. Today we started using Alden Studios to help get our stuff organized and moving for a mini-renovation we are trying to get done, hoping to carve out more studio space. If I had an architecture practice I would 100% use them. Sometimes manufacturing offers pleasant surprises. We're running low on TSL electronics and I found out our pcb assembler in Massachusetts still has 1500 blank boards lying around from our last run. I had a mini and very unresolved revelation last night walking home from piano. I no longer want to attempt participation in the fast paced scarcity drop model of cool new stuff entering the world. I want CW&T to be more like cozy and old and there for you when you're ready. Che-Wei agrees.
CWANDT.COM is old and dusty
If you haven't yet, please consider supporting Pocket Fiche. These units are scarce, not artificially, but because Miles is making real computer chips (we saw his transistors this weekend) and this is a one off. ALSO the website to claim your 0.5mm parcel and contribute to the Golden Fiche is live. It's really cool. You should participate because the Golden Fiche will be one of a kind and will be around forever.
The retro polka tubular ts and already ultralight but now even more ultralight Pen Type-Cs we made with gnur are in transit and should be getting to you very soon if not may have already arrived.
With love and hugs,
Che-Wei + Taylor
